The BBC micro:bit v2.2 is a pocket-sized computer that you can code, customise and control to bring your digital ideas, games and apps to life.
The first micro:bit was invented by the BBC in 2015, continuing the legacy of the original BBC Micro computer from the 1980s. The goal was to provide every Year 7 child in the UK with a micro:bit.
